Happy Halloween!

The above drawing, by supervising director Abe Levitow, was used in the production of the Frankenstein episode from The Famous Adventures of Mr. Magoo, one of the more interesting offerings in the series due to the dark, German Expressionist styling of the backgrounds by Gloria Wood.  Famed animal draftsman and ex-Disney animator, Ken Hultgren, author of The Art of Animal Drawing, animated a good portion of the episode.  There are a few cels from this episode for sale here.  Have a safe and Happy Halloween!

The Famous Adventures of Mr. Magoo needs to have a full DVD set..I got some episodes off the USA Network run in the 1990's..Somewhat underrated in my opinion.

Classic Media doesn't feel there's enough demand to justify an entire set, particularly after the Robin Hood release didn't sell well. You can let them know how you feel here:
